A tool to transform the climate debate

More than a diagnosis, this dossier is a tool for political advocacy. The Brazilian Center for Climate Justice, in partnership with the Movimento Negro Unificado (Unified Black Movement) and the Instituto de Referência Negra Peregum (Peregum Black Reference Institute), makes visible what has historically been silenced and points to pathways for Black populations to effectively occupy global decision-making spaces.

In the aftermath of the COP30 in Brazil, the material reinforces an urgent call: to place Black lives at the center of climate solutions.
